Women can urinate: anywhere/anytime (in wheelchairs and in bed) Updated

Are you confined to a wheelchair? Do you know someone confined to a wheelchair? Do you find it difficult to get up and down from the toilet seat? Do you like to be independent? You like to travel? Does peeing make this impossible and embarrassing for you? If your answer is yes, keep reading.

A few years ago I had emergency surgery on my knees and couldn’t walk for a few months. I never felt so powerless in my life. In the past, I could always jump out of bed and go to the bathroom on my own without a problem. When I was in a wheelchair I felt like a rolling dead. My independence was taken from me.

Suddenly, I needed help getting in and out of bed. They had to help me into a wheelchair where I spent all day until they helped me back to bed at night.

He required help getting to the bathroom whenever nature called. Something so ordinary and simple had turned into a huge production, especially since I lived in an RV.

SUDDENLY DISABLED… HELP!

The most embarrassing problem was just going to the bathroom. I had to lose my dignity when someone else had to help me stand up, undress me and help me sit on the toilet. I felt humiliated and helpless.

When I needed help, I had to call a friend who came to patrol the bathroom. I wasn’t completely useless. He had my mind, my hands and arms. All I was missing was my legs.

My friend had to wheel me down this long narrow hallway and then into a tiny bathroom that was never designed for a wheelchair. I had to limp painfully for a few steps and then had to be partially lifted over the toilet.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILY?

SECRET:

I was lucky. I remembered when I was younger and used to drive my elderly aunt to her doctor’s appointments. She used this little external urinal that allowed her to stand up and urinate, or she could use it while she was sitting in her wheelchair.

I remember when he first found out about this fantastic new little urinal that drastically changed his life. It was a device made for women that could be slipped into clothing and had a tube that slipped into a reusable vinyl bag.

I called her about my problem and she told me where to buy it. I immediately ordered it and re-entered the human race.

Presto, now the writing is done directly from my wheelchair and no one needs to know. I can do it by myself without help.

I CAN URINATE ALONE FROM MY WHEELCHAIR WITHOUT HELP! YES!!!

I CAN URINATE ONLY WHILE I’M IN MY OWN BED AT NIGHT WITHOUT HAVING TO GO OUT. YES!!!

They put the long tube in a jar overnight and I was able to urinate easily and freely without getting out of bed.

TRAVEL BY PLANE:

During my last month confined to my wheelchair, I had to take an unexpected plane ride to see my sister. At first I panicked for the simple reason that I didn’t know how she was going to urinate while she was on the plane.

After a few minutes I realized that I could use my little urinal device discreetly in my plane seat and no one would notice.

I covered my lap with a blanket, used the collection bag, tied a knot around the neck, and when I was done I put it in the “puke” bag and asked the stewardess to dispose of it. She asked me if I was feeling better, and with a big sigh, I could honestly say yes.

OUT OF THE CHAIR, INTO LIFE.

When I was able to walk again, I still had difficulty getting up and down from the seat. This time I had the answer. I could stand up and go using my little secret.
