* Advantages of winning: the winner receives a damage benefit that applies to the entire area. Since there are many elemental materials in Wintergrasp, having the buff will likely make collecting those materials easier. There are also Guardian Shards that can be obtained from dungeon bosses, and as rumors have it, there might be treasure in an ancient underground vault in Wintergrasp.
