Sardinia, a small continent in the middle of the Mediterranean, is the perfect place for a beach holiday. It’s Arutas, Goats
This secluded shoreline is unlike other stretches of the Sardinian coastline, as the sand is made up of pure white, greenish and pink quartz rice grains rather than having been ground from the more common calcareous rock. Colorful quartz grains sparkle at the bottom of the sea, under clear water tinged with a blue-green hue. This beach and its neighbors are far from the centers of mass tourism, although this beach is popular with surfers. Still, you can probably enjoy the natural beauty of this wild place without being disturbed.
Cala Luna, Baunei/Dorgali
Some say that this is the most beautiful cove on the entire island. Its transparent waters and fine white sand can be reached on foot along the coastal path, or, more easily, from the sea. One of the many bays most easily reached by boat, making chartering a boat here an attractive proposition.
