Software Review – Copy Games Wizard (Copy Games from Ps3, Ps2, Xbox 360)

Everyone in the PSX, XBOX 360 loop may have heard of Game Copy Wizard.

For those of you who haven’t, here’s a list of what it does and how it works.

All said and done the million dollar question on everyone’s mind is does this work? Does it really allow you to burn bootable backups of games to discs? I went through the software and went through everything it offers and finally got an answer.

Facility:

Downloading and installing was very easy. The download is small and the installation is fast. There is no problem here.

Spent:

The software interface is simplistic. It looks like normal DVD authoring software. For my first test I selected my PS2 slim. I had a copy of God Of War 2. I should also mention that I don’t have any modchips or softmods installed. Going from DVD to PC was a piece of cake. I then inserted a DVD-R into my burner and copied the image to the disc. This process seemed too simple and I was skeptical. My doubts were soon cleared when I inserted the disc into my PS2 and it started the game without any problem!

IT WORKED!!

I also have a PS3 and am one of the few lucky people on the planet to have a Blue Ray recorder. This was definitely my next step.

I broke my GTA 4 blue ray disc. I put in a new sony blue ray disc, hit BURN! the process took about 15 minutes and my new GTA backup came out! This also worked perfectly! without a single problem!!

About XBOX 360, I burned a copy of PGR 3 to a new disc and tried it on my friends console. It worked PERFECTLY!! I guess all of this is good news for all you console lovers out there. There is FINALLY a solution to copy all console games into one software package without the need for mods or disc swap methods!

final verdict:

The software WORKS perfectly and gets a score of 4.5/5. I just wish the interface was a little better, but I guess simplicity IS the motto of this software. Definitely a MUST download for all console lovers!
