The AudioStrider comes with a 1-year parts and labor warranty. Being an inexpensive elliptical, I would still recommend that you increase the warranty to a coverage of at least 2 years. The cost is not much more.
However, I can tell from the feedback I get from my readers, few people have had any problems with the 990 out of the box and overall it seems to be holding up well with normal use.
