It can be very difficult to stay calm in difficult situations. Most people start to freak out when things don’t go their way.

One way to stay calm in a difficult situation is to step back and analyze the situation as if you were a third party watching. You have to get out of the frame mentally. When you mentally step out of the picture, you can gain better insight into how to find a solution to the problem. The reason you will most likely find a solution to the problem is because you no longer see it as your problem. When something affects us we are more vulnerable to the situation. When something affects another person, we can easily criticize it. The sad thing is that it can be the same situation. People always tend to say things like “if it were me, I wouldn’t do that”. this is a perfect example.

It is always better to say things than to do them. I can sit here and look you in the eye and tell you something about a problem, until I’m blue in the face. Just because I feel like it’s a problem doesn’t mean it’s a problem for you. People need to relax and remain calm in difficult situations. Staying calm helps you troubleshoot, solve problems, and give advice to everyone involved.

Yelling and yelling to get the point across doesn’t help, it just escalates the issue. Keeping a calm voice and killing them with kindness always works. These are my findings and conclusions on how to stay calm in a difficult situation.
