Car Leasing Specials: The Jaguar XF

With the new year fast approaching, it seems like everyone is gearing up to see all sorts of car leasing specials; especially with the many super cars rumored to be coming out in 2008. One of these cars is more highly anticipated than any other and it is none other than the new Jaguar XF. Unlike the Jaguar of yore, this one actually resembles the appearance of a real big cat. The Jaguar XF goes beyond the traditional standards of the elegant Jaguar to which we are all accustomed.

What we do know about this Jaguar that goes on sale in March is that while it uses the old S-Type underpinnings and suspension from the XK coupe, it looks completely different. It takes on a sportier rather than luxurious look though it doesn’t give up too much as it still looks like a million bucks. It will definitely appeal to a much younger market, but this is not to say that it will alienate Jaguar’s dedicated market as it still retains the class that Jaguar is known for; This is especially true if you manage to get one of these car lease specials in a dark color, like black.

What you see outside is definitely not true inside the XF. The exterior is much more attractive, but inside, you may be surprised by the luxury of space you’ll enjoy. The seats are not as bulky as one might expect and this gives an impression of more air and space. This is a good thing though, especially with all the stuff this car packs. Expect wood and aluminum alloy on the inner sides, a lowered dash, a rotary gear selector in the center, and a start button that flashes as you enter the car. As standard, consumers get cruise control, heated seats, and satellite navigation! That leaves room for the imagination when it comes to plugins.

Speaking of space, the Jaguar XF has plenty. In fact, a six foot person sitting in the back will actually have a lot of clearance between their head and the ceiling. Footwell is roomy enough, but the 500-litre boot space is much more generous, and the rear seats also fold down for extra space.

Expect the Jaguar XF to “hit the shelves” on March 1, 2008. It will come in two impressive 4.2-liter V8 models, one with a supercharger and one without. There will also be a 3.0-litre V6 engine for the less adventurous and a 2.7-litre V6 turbodiesel for the gas-conscious. This is definitely the cat to beat as soon as it hits the market and with a price tag of over $60,000, this price range is rivaled only by Germany’s BMW 550i M Sport. It all depends on which class you choose to fall into when it comes to shopping for the best car lease specials.
