Cable Crunches: This exercise is great for working your upper and lower abs at the same time. So it’s a huge time saver. To perform this exercise, tie a rope to the top pulley. Get on your knees and grasp the rope with each hand, bend and curl your torso forward, contracting your abdominal muscles downward. At the end of the movement, hold for 5 to 10 seconds.

Seated Leg Crunches – This is another really great exercise for the upper and lower abs. Sit crosswise on a bench keeping a good grip with each hand. Then, raise your legs and bend your knees in toward your chest while keeping your body at a 40-degree angle. Do this for reps using a scissor motion. This exercise will give you defined muscles.

Stability Ball Roll Ins – This abdominal exercise will shape and develop those hard to reach lower abs. Begin by lying on a stability ball face down, using your hands, walk on top of the ball while keeping your body straight. This movement ends when the only thing left on the ball are the balls of the feet.
