10 tips to complete the cleaning of your bathroom

Mr. Clean never shows up with his “magic” to clean my bathroom for me, how about you? If Scrubbing Bubbles won’t sweep up your bathroom scum on their own, it’s time to break out the cleaning supplies and make that core yourself!

I don’t know anyone who enjoy cleaning, let alone cleaning toilets. Anyway, that is a must if you want to live in a clean environment. But it doesn’t have to be a laborious task!

Here are some of my favorite tips to help make the job easier and faster:

  1. Paper towels— Keep a roll of paper towels in your bathroom. You can even attach a paper towel rack to the back of a cabinet or linen closet door (if your linen closet is in the bathroom).
  2. pop-up wipes— Keep a container of pop-up disinfectant wipes under the sink. Clean sink and counter after each use. Facilitates general cleaning.
  3. Under sink plastic trays— These plastic trays make it easy to reach items (push trays forward to reach items at the back of the cabinet). They also protect the bottom of cabinets from spills and leaks.
  4. Shower protector spray— Spray this in the shower area. Helps keep soap scum buildup to a minimum between cleanings.
  5. Squeegee— A good squeegee will help keep shower doors clean and remove soap scum, mildew and water spots. Use after spraying with Shower Saver Spray. Hot steam is a good cleaner – use it and clean while you shower!
  6. Glass Cleaner— Keep an extra bottle of glass cleaner under the sink. You won’t have to carry cleaning supplies around the house.
  7. Scrubber Sponge— Keep an all-purpose scouring pad in each bathroom under the sink. It’s easy to clean on the go. Store the wet sponge in an old plastic cup to dry between uses.
  8. do not use— Disinfectant or soap scum/mold removers on mirrors.
  9. Noubliez pas— To clean doorknobs, switch plates, cabinet knobs and toilet handles.
  10. whitening pen— Have a bleach pen and old toothbrush handy for stains and caulk spills.
