Almost everyone has heard of essential oils, but how many of us really know what their uses are beyond just popular aromatherapy? Some of these oils are used in the processing of natural soaps and lotions, partly because of their scent or other benefits. Lavender is a wonderful scent. Lavender essential oil is said to induce relaxation. Other topical uses include everything from soothing skin rashes to minor burns. Tea tree oil is an essential oil that should be in every medicine cabinet.
