The greed of bankers and corporations

Many wise people fear that the human mind is a universal code kept in its safes by the most greedy people, all kinds of political castes around the world, emperors bigger and smaller, bankers and corporations. Who is in the interest of having people who are not free individuals, and who do not have sound minds and pure hearts? Well, those who are slaves to greed! Unfortunately, the biggest media in the world, the biggest publishers, are increasingly becoming a powerful weapon in the hands of the shadow rulers, those who want to rule the people. While watching ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington’, we can relate to the plot and characters, because like human kindness, greed is eternal.

Some might say that bankers are players. I know I did on occasion, but life teaches us that this analogy is wrong. Why? Because I really respect professional players who put their own money on the line. Wall Street bankers, on the other hand, gamble with their clients’ money. They do not risk losing anything of their own, so they are not players. If we take a look at the legendary player Doyle Brunson and a bank manager, what we see are two different worlds. Doyle Brunson won his last hundred betting with his own money, and when his chips get higher and higher, it’s not because he’s stealing money from the poor, but because he’s doing his job better than other professional players. . What about the bankers? They get rich at the expense of the poor, and even if they lose money, they never get poorer. Why? Because the taxpayers are the ones paying their debts, which is always backed by the story that the failure of the major banks would cause an even worse recession in the US and the world. So citizens can and should declare bankruptcy, but the same rule does not apply to banks, which are clearly a double standard, which is pernicious for any free market.

If we know that corruption is the malignant tumor of every society, we must ask ourselves why banks and corporations benefit more from societies infected by corruption? Many underdeveloped countries are infected by corruption, through the dictatorships of the political castes, thus losing billions of dollars, but little is it known that there are increasing amounts of money flowing from underdeveloped countries to the banks and corporations of the world. developed. According to data published by the World Bank, corruption that takes the form of bribery and theft by state officials generates losses of between 34 and 56 billion dollars a year in underdeveloped countries. This represents barely 5% of the total amount of money that disappears from public funds. On the other hand, multinational companies steal more than 980 billion dollars a year from underdeveloped countries through tax evasion. Still, this is not covered by the official definition of corruption. This huge outlet is facilitated by the suspect financial system in underdeveloped countries riddled with corruption, as well as the creation of fiscal oases to which money from underdeveloped and corrupt countries is transferred. In such tax oases, companies exist only fictitiously, which is also the case with anonymous accounts and fake foundations.

The largest banks in the world became so powerful as to be able to control the systems of most of the countries in the world, which is particularly the case of underdeveloped countries. In recent years, they have managed to achieve deregulation in many parliaments around the world through their powerful lobbies, leading to an increased flow of money through banking systems that are out of control. Journalists have discovered that the world’s largest banks make hundreds of billions of dollars laundering dirty money from drug cartels and all manner of corrupt dictators and politicians.

If we know that the shadow master of the MMF is a consortium of the largest banks and corporations, who manage to squeeze money out of underdeveloped countries in suspicious ways, it is not surprising to see that a representative of the MMF claimed that the corrupt Croatian government has done a good job introducing pre-bankruptcy agreements, even if any beginner in economics knows that this very “law” makes corruption flourish in Croatia. It must be said that the small and beautiful Croatia is blessed by nature. It is a country of a thousand islands surrounded by a clear blue sea. In the heart of Croatia lies Gorski Kotar, a forested mountainous area with the cleanest fresh water in the world. There are endless fertile plains in the eastern part of the country, but despite all these blessings of nature, people throwing rubbish in garbage cans are becoming commonplace in cities, which is a huge defeat for all those politicians. who won the popular vote in the elections. last choice. The Croatian political caste has closed its eyes instead of fighting corruption. When they vote for new laws, they do so for the good of their tycoon friends, and not for the greater good. What is the MMF doing about it?

I wonder if the MMF has the power and honor to look at the man in the mirror. And so the MMF is praising the corrupt Croatian caste when they diminish the social rights of already poor citizens, when they decrease the already low hourly wage, and when they take away all the basic rights of workers, and we know there is no spending without reasonable wages. If there is spending, then there is also production, and how is there supposed to be spending if there is no one to spend? No work, no expense, and so on in a circle. Furthermore, the MMF has only praise for this spectacular robbery in Croatia, called pre-bankruptcy agreements. Yes, you may not believe it, but the MMF delegate has praised the government of the Republic of Croatia for such a law, claiming that pre-bankruptcy agreements are a great idea. Kolakusic, a famed crime fighter and commercial court judge, said this is “a particularly astute law that reads like a manual on how to abuse it.” In the words of the judge himself: “I have noticed that this is a particularly cunning law, which facilitates innumerable abuses. Three subjects at the state level participate simultaneously in it: the Prosecutor’s Office, the commercial courts and the administrative courts, and none is responsible for anything. Such a law, such a cunning… I just couldn’t believe that such a thing was possible.”

So, this “law” has nothing in common with the free market and sane laws. Its purpose is to loot taxpayers. Where do the spoilers go? To the banks! They are not interested in the bankruptcy of the State tomorrow, and the people bleeding to death in the streets after one revolution or another, because both the banks and the political elite will take their loot and look for a new one. country and new victims. This inhuman and anti-commercial law rewards ignorance, irresponsibility, laziness, shame, looting, corruption… and punishes honesty, diligence and creativity. In short, thieves are forgiven hundreds of millions in tax debt, while honest businessmen have their small family businesses shut down for a few more undeclared kuna found in their accountants.

It doesn’t take a financial genius to understand that a thief who cheated out of a factory can never create new jobs; all he will do is destroy existing factories and jobs, and so we come to local and global economic crises. So how can the MMF claim to adhere to the rules of the free market? In a genuinely free market, there is no government protectionism. It is left to the free market. So if a company is not making a profit, it must file for bankruptcy, and then a new company will rise from the ashes, with a new brand and new visions and creative people, making a profit and creating new jobs. Freedom is in the genes of every human being, and this is also true for the economy, let’s not forget that people deal with the economy from the moment of their birth.

People despondently say that profit has become the epicenter of life. I will never stop believing that people are the epicenter of life. Compassion, kindness, love and faith, these noble values hang eternally over humans like a sacred halo and an everlasting guardian of the spirit. Yes, we can create a better system to generate profit, but it will all be for nothing if we ignore people. Some scientists, politicians, and businessmen would say that the more people control their emotions, the richer and more intelligent they become. My message to them is: the moment you become the master of your emotions, know that you have lost them forever. They don’t say for nothing that one should listen to their hearts and souls when faced with a horrible dilemma. “Write down the thoughts of the moment. The ones that arrive unsought are often the most valuable.” (Francis Bacon) Is it not so also with emotions? Those who bask in the golden rays of the sun are much richer spiritually and much happier than those who only feel joy from the glow of gold. Why? Because the most valuable things in life are free. You can’t buy praised, pure and noble love without a lot of money, but you can have it if you haven’t lost your emotions.
